Saturday Image Bonus 60

I have chosen 5 different girl trade cards for this week. All of them have sweet angelic faces. I believe all of these cards are from the late 1800's. They advertise shoes, sewing patterns and clothiers. A few of these were very damaged and I have tried to digitally repair them. I hope you enjoy.

I ask that if you use one in your artwork that you link it back to my site and add a comment to this message with a link to your artwork so we can all enjoy it.

Lily Card

Here is a card I made with the Lily stamp from the In the Garden set. The dot background was made with a Cuttlebug Embossing folder Swiss Dot and the edge detail was made with the Martha Stewart border punch Gothic Arch. The greeting plate is by JoAnn's.

Here are five Victorian trade cards selling Corn Starch. They are from two companies Gilbert S Graves and Niagra. All of these have wonderful images of children.

Here are 5 trade cards from Spencer And Perkins dry goods. I have included the back of one of the cards so you can see the prices. I believe these cards are from the 1880's.

Boys Will Be Boys

I love this cute stamp of Georgy Porgey. I stamped this with Memento ink and colored it with Copic markers. The background was made with a cuttlebug embossing folder.
